The fastest-growing cookie company in the United States that features an ever-rotating menu with over 200 flavors is currently working on its first location in Ocala.
Crumbl Cookies is currently under construction at Market Street at Heath Brook. The new bakery is located just a few doors down from the former Pie-O-Mine, which permanently closed last fall.
Known for its open-concept kitchens and famous pink boxes, the company has developed a strong following due to its constantly-changing menu.
Each week, Crumbl offers four new flavors that are inspired by “cakes, candies, pies, and desserts of all kinds,” according to its website.
Locations allow customers to view the entire cookie-making process from “balling, to baking, to dressing.”
Crumbl was co-founded by cousins Jason McGowan and Sawyer Hemsley, who opened the first location in Utah in 2017. Since then, the company has seen an explosion in growth across the country.
In June 2022, Crumbl opened its eighth location in the Orlando-area in nearby DeLand. At that time, there were just over 300 Crumbl locations in the country and around 30 locations across the state of Florida.
Now, there are over 850 locations across the country, 70 locations across the state, and over a dozen across Central Florida, including spots in Orlando, Altamonte Springs, Clermont, Winter Park, and Winter Springs.
Last year, Crumbl opened its first international locations in Canada.
No additional details have been made available regarding the opening date of the new location in Ocala.
