Vincent S. Lomoriello

Vincent “Vinnie” Lomoriello, 98, a proud veteran of the United States Navy, passed away peacefully at his sister’s home on March 22, 2024 in Ocala, Florida.
Vinnie, son of Andrew and Librina Lomoriello, was born on October 15, 1925 in Manhattan NY. He attended Bronx Vocational High School, graduating in 1942. He served in the United States Navy as a Seaman First Class from October 18, 1942 to March 27, 1945 until he was honorably discharged. During his time in NY, he worked at his Father’s produce store in Manhattan and later owned a bar in the Bronx, Vinnie’s Pub. Vinnie lived in City Island, NY until he moved to Ocala, Florida with his sister and brother-in-law in the mid 1980’s.
He is survived by his sister Mary Mazzurco, Ocala. Nephews Sal, Andy, Michael, and Niece Jo-Ann and many great nephews and great nieces. He is preceded in death by his parents Andrew and Librina, Sisters Margie and Vivian, Brother Andrew, Nephews Andrew, Vinny and Joseph, and Niece Ro and Joann.
