Ocala police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred at a local Burger King on Friday evening.
In a social media post, the Ocala Police Department stated that officers responded to the Burger King located at 2301 E Silver Springs Boulevard in reference to a shooting incident.
Officers learned that a male victim had gotten into someone’s vehicle and was taken to HCA Florida Maricamp Emergency, where he was pronounced deceased.
Ocala police stated that detectives are currently investigating the shooting incident. No further details were provided.
