Marion County commissioners will hold their regularly scheduled board meeting on Tuesday, November 7 at their original location from the 1800s: the Fort King National Historic Landmark.
During the Marion County Board of County Commissioners meeting, which starts at 9 a.m., artillery volunteers will conduct live cannon firing. Residents in the area may hear a series of rounds fired multiple times.
The round of firings will begin at approximately 9:15 a.m. and will signal the Veterans Appreciation Proclamation presented by the Marion County Board of County Commissioners.
