All are welcome to watch or participate in mini bike dirt track racing at the Marion County Speedway this weekend.
Mini Mullisha will host the 2024 Spring Nationals mini dirt bike race on Saturday, April 6, and Sunday, April 7, at 12 p.m. at the Marion County Speedway, which is located at 7197 NW Gainesville Rd., in Ocala.
All those seeking to participate must operate bikes that are pull-start Coleman, Motovox, Mega Moto, or similar-style mini bikes. The cost to participate is $10 per person for the gate fee and $25 for rider registration. All profits go to the track.
The racing formats will be Oval and Gran Prix, with the oval featuring full flag rules and rolling starts. All classes will run 7-lap heats. Stock and Stage 1 will run 15 lap features; Outlaws will run a 20 lap feature. Gran Prix-style racing through the infield back around to the big oval. All classes will run a 15-lap race with no heats.
