College of Central Florida to host Hispanic Heritage Festival

The College of Central Florida (CF), in partnership with the Hispanic Business Council, will host a Hispanic Heritage Festival next month in Ocala.

The festival will be held on Saturday, October 14, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Citizens’ Circle, which is located at 151 SE Osceola Avenue in Ocala.

During the event, visitors will get to enjoy free kid-friendly art activities and music, along with community resources that include the College of Central Florida, Appleton Museum, Marion County Public Schools, Marion County Public Library, and Ocala Police Department.

More than 30 vendors will also be set up with clothing, jewelry, home decorations, plants, food items, and more. Additionally, there will be plenty of food trucks with meals and snacks available for purchase.

“We are excited to connect with our community at this annual festival,” stated Dr. Raphel Robinson, director of Admissions and Student Recruitment at CF. “It’s a great opportunity for families to explore local resources, artists and vendors right here in Marion County.”
