Ocala property sells for $325k profit 11 months after last sale

A 6-acre property in Ocala recently sold for more than $1,000,000, making over $300,000 in profits in less than 11 months.

Located at 1049 SE 131st Street in the Alamar Village subdivision, the 6-acre lot was sold for $1,225,000 on August 7, 2023 and features a 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom, 2,959-square-foot home.

According to property records, the home was built in 1997 and previously sold on September 8, 2022 for $900,000. Additional records indicate that the home was sold for $346,000 in 2002.

Multiple modifications have been made to the property over that past two decades, including new paved concrete which was installed last year, according to Marion County property records.

The corner lot home features a circular driveway and a 3-car garage, as well as a golf cart garage. It also features a pool, and a horse barn, according to a Zillow listing.

The property is one of several in Ocala that has sold this year for a substantial profit over the previous sale.

A 4,179-square-foot estate in Jumbolair sold last month for $500,000 more than its 2016 sales price.

A 4-acre farm that last sold in 2021 for $477,500 was just purchased for $1,150,000.

A 25-acre horse farm in northwest Ocala was sold for $3.8 million last month, earning more than 13 times its original sales price in 2001.
