4-acre farm sells for more than double 2021 sales price

A 4-acre farm that last sold in 2021 for $477,500 was just purchased for over $1 million.

Located at 6948 NW 54th Loop in the Hunterdon subdivision, the property was sold on August 14 for $1,150,000, which represents an increase of more than 240% over the previous sales price.

The property, which is located a few miles from the World Equestrian Center, features a 5-bedroom, 4-bathroom, 3,451-square-foot home that was built in 2004. The home features a triple-split bedroom plan with a great room, living room, and dining room.

The kitchen is upgraded with a WOLF gas range and solid wood cabinets.

Additional features include an oversized, detached garage with a loft and a balcony. The air conditioning units were replaced last year, and a new roof was installed in 2023, according to the property’s Zillow listing.

According to Marion County property records, the home first sold for $75,000 in 2003. The home was then sold for $305,000 in 2013, for $465,000 in 2015, and for $477,500 in 2021.
