The Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Ocala gave members of the Ocala Chamber and Economic Partnership a first look at their new hotel in the heart of the city.
Located at 120 E Silver Springs Boulevard, the 170-room hotel had been slated to open earlier this year before being delayed until sometime later this year, according to staff.
Despite that delay, however, construction is nearing completion on the facility, which features a variety of balconies and outside patios that overlook downtown Ocala.
The conference and meeting rooms are decorated with modern, bright furniture, with each room featuring different types of lighting fixtures.
According to staff, the hotel will offer private patios for certain rooms, as well as a conjoined patio that is shared between four suites as an option for guests that reserve multiple rooms.
Among the many amenities is the hotel’s gym and weight room, whose brightly colored walls can be seen while traveling along Silver Springs Boulevard.
