A new vendor cooking up Latin fusion flavors from various countries has joined Ocala’s growing food truck scene.
The Secret Kitchen Latin Fusion food truck hosted its soft and grand openings at the Ocala Food Truck park in Marion Oaks earlier this month.
Owned and operated by the Luzarraga family, the new restaurant sold out of most of its food during its grand opening weekend on March 9 and 10, according to posts on social media.
The food truck serves a variety of Latin favorites and tapas, including yuca fries, chicharron, pork and beef burgers, and empanadas in different flavors.
Multiple dishes feature special sauces prepared by the truck, including an Asian sauce that accompanies its chicharron.
“Get your taste buds ready for a flavor explosion that will keep you coming back for more,” reads a post from the company’s social media.
Secret Kitchen joins multiple other food trucks that have opened in Ocala in recent months, with many posting regular hours at the new Ocala Food Truck village, which is located at 2655 SW Hwy 484.
That park also saw the addition of The Sandwich on Fire, which opened its doors earlier this year.
