The city of Ocala’s newest Chick-fil-A location will officially open its doors next week.
On Tuesday, December 19, Chick-fil-A will celebrate the grand opening of its West Ocala location at 5048 SW 48th Avenue.
The popular fast-food chain’s menu features chicken sandwiches, chick-n-strips, and nuggets that can be paired with waffle fries. Additional side options include a fruit cup, side salad, mac and cheese, and soup.
Chick-fil-A also serves breakfast until 10:30 a.m., and the menu includes chicken biscuits, sausage/bacon and egg biscuits, chick-n-minis, hash brown scramble burritos and bowls, and Greek yogurt parfaits.
In addition to the new Chick-fil-A on SW 48th Avenue, the chicken franchise currently operates a standalone restaurant at 3445 SW College Road and another location inside the Paddock Mall (3100 SW College Road).
All Chick-fil-A locations are open Monday through Saturday, and they are closed on Sundays.

The newest Chick-fil-A restaurant in Ocala is located next to multiple businesses that have opened up in the past couple years, including RaceWash, Culver’s, CarMax, and Chicken Salad Chick.
Chick-fil-A joins other restaurants across the city that are in various stages of construction, including many that have opened new locations earlier this year.
After much anticipation, Mellow Mushroom celebrated the grand opening of its restaurant at 2 W Fort King Street in early December.
In October, K-Pot Korean BBQ & Hot Pot opened its first restaurant in Ocala at 2621 SW 19th Avenue.
Also in October, family-owned sandwich shop Connotto’s opened its doors in southeast Ocala at 3751 SE 36th Avenue. The eatery took over the former location of a vegan cafe that closed a couple years ago.
The Flame Indian Kitchen opened its new restaurant at 3710 SW College Road, next to I-75, in September.
In early September, Specialty cheesecake shop J Marie Brands celebrated the grand opening of its first brick-and-mortar location in Ocala.
The District Bar & Kitchen celebrated the opening of its new restaurant in downtown Ocala this summer. That restaurant was built from the ground up, replacing former tenant Pi on Broadway.
Popeyes will soon open its newly constructed location at 1713 S Pine Avenue. Over a year ago, the fast-food restaurant’s roof was damaged after severe weather passed through the area.
Fat Boys BBQ reopened its iconic location in east Ocala after new ownership conducted extensive renovations at the property, which is located at 4132 E Silver Springs Boulevard.
Other restaurants that opened in Ocala this year include Big Lee’s BBQ, Sweet ‘N Savory Eats, Morelli’s Pizza and Subs, and Slice.
