Need to reinstate your driver’s license in Marion County?

Marion County officials are gearing up to host Operation Green Light, an annual, week-long event that provides residents with suspended driver’s licenses a chance to get their licenses reinstated.

The Marion County Clerk of Court and Comptroller’s Office will host the event from Monday, April 8 through Friday, April 12, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This year’s event is available to residents in-person, by phone, and virtually:

  • Pay in-person: Visit room 303 (Criminal Division), room 101 (Traffic Division). room 105 (Court Compliance for payment plans) at the Marion County Clerk of Court and Comptroller’s office located at 110 NW 1st Avenue in Ocala.
  • Pay by phone: Call the Criminal Division (352-671-5674) or the Traffic Division (352-617-5599).
  • Apply for a payment plan online: Visit the criminal payment application or traffic payment application webpages.

    According to officials, the event will provide county residents with suspended driver’s licenses an opportunity to get their licenses back by paying overdue court obligations in full, including traffic tickets, while saving up to 20% in additional fees.

Extended hours will be offered on Tuesday, April 9, and Thursday, April 11, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

During its 2023 event, the Marion County Clerk’s Office helped approximately 246 customers become eligible for driver’s license reinstatement, according to county officials.
