Devon James Jacobson, 19, passed away on March 18th surrounded by close friends and loving family. Devon was born on Aug 4th 2004 at Citrus Memorial Hospital to Christina Russ and Nicholas Jacobson. Devon attended Citrus High School where he made many memories and friends. He had plans to pursue a career with Fish and wildlife Conservation. A perfect job for a young man whom loved fishing, hunting and working on his four-wheelers.

He will always be remembered with much love by his heartbroken parents, mother Christina Russ and father Nicholas Jacobson of Ocala. Siblings, Lauren Jacobson of Spring Hill, Astraea Jacobson and Ava Jacobson of Ocala. Aunts, Corie Winburn of Ocala, Madison Whitmeyer of Citrus Springs, Stefanie Ferruzzi of East Patchogue and Kristie Ferruzzi of Islip. Uncle Dennis Ferruzzi of Vancouver. Nieces Liliana , Natalie , and Everly. Newphew Tatum. Loving Grandparents, Linda and Joe Ferruzzi of Inveness and Steve Whitmeyer of Homosassa.

Our family was not expecting for Devon’s life to be cut so short, so sudden. Devon had a forgiving heart and gentle soul. He cherished his family and built strong frienships. He was always smiling and having a good time. He was free spirited and ready to take on world! Devon was a beautiful baby and a handsome young man. Forever a Momma’s Boy and Dad’s Buddy. He was the best Big Brother to his younger sisters who look up to and adore him. Devon always showed compassion for others. In his final act of love Devon was able to donate his organs. The Legacy of Our son, and all he would have been will continue as he lives on in others.
