White lines need to be painted on CR 484

To the Editor:

The white lines for traffic are obsolete in the 484 corridor. I travel that route at nighttime, and the cars weave in and out of westbound and eastbound lanes, becoming very erratic. Drivers do not know how to assess the width of the lanes because there are no white lines to keep you focused on the lane that’s being used.

I know there is much construction ongoing on the 484 corridor; however, safety is of the upmost. Preventing accidents with clear visual fields at nighttime should be a priority.

Any chance we can get the Department of Transportation to, at least, paint those lines so we can prevent any possible accidents and the weaving in and out of pseudo lanes? Or, can one of the officials travel that road westbound and eastbound during night hours, so they can further assess the safety hazard for not having lines painted in those lanes.
