A 20-acre farm in northwest Ocala sold for over $1 million last month, nearly tripling its previous sales price in 2016.
Located at 5415 NW 100th Street, just north of the Canyons Zip Line Adventure Park and just south of the Florida State Fire College, the property sold for $1,100,000 on September 18, according to Marion County property records.
The main home on the property was built in 2000 and features 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and 2,247 square feet of living space.
Property records show that the home was sold in 2005 for $530,000, in 2006 for $775,000, in 2011 for $400,000, and in 2016 for $385,000.
In 2016, the property underwent a series of changes, including the addition of two sheds and two barns that offer a total of around two dozen stalls.
The farm is one of several properties in Ocala that continue to sell for substantial profits since they were last sold.
A 4,179-square-foot estate in Jumbolair sold last month for $500,000 more than its 2016 sales price.
A 4-acre farm that last sold in 2021 for $477,500 was just purchased for over $1 million.
