The City of Ocala will host two town hall meetings on Thursday to discuss a variety of topics affecting the downtown area.
The two meetings will be held on March 7 at the Institute for Human and Machine Cognition (IHMC) located at 15 SE Osceola Avenue.
The first session will begin at 12 p.m. and the second session will start at 5:30 p.m.
Both sessions will cover multiple topics about the city’s efforts downtown, including the construction of a second parking garage, loading zones, pedestrian improvements, lighting, and underground trash receptacles.
Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and engage with city staff in an open forum setting.
All topics covered during these meetings will be limited to those within the jurisdiction of the Ocala, according to city officials.
