A diner that opened its first location in southwest Ocala in 2021 is working on a new, second location in the northeast part of the city.
Breakfast Station is developing the new restaurant at Pearl Britain Plaza, located at 2657 NE 35th Street in Ocala.
The restaurant chain has been sharing the news with customers at its original Ocala location, which opened in the Steeplechase Plaza at 8585 SW SR 200 on September 27, 2021.
“We have a new Ocala location coming this fall,” reads an insert at the restaurant. The new diner will be located next to the Publix in the plaza, which reopened in 2021.
Founded in Port Richey in 1995, Breakfast Station has grown to 15 locations across the state of Florida. That includes two locations in nearby Brooksville, one in Dunnellon, and another in Leesburg.
As its name suggests, the restaurant’s menu features an extensive collection of breakfast and lunch options, from savory, Southern favorites like country fried steak, to sweet options like waffles, french toast, and pancakes.
For lunch, the restaurant offers a variety of sandwiches, wraps, melts, burgers, quesadillas, chicken dishes, salads, and multiple “hometown” entrees, including meatloaf, chopped steak, fish and chips, and liver and onions.
Hours and information have not been released for the new location.
The other Ocala location is open seven days a week, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
