Ocala police are searching for a man who allegedly shot someone in the parking lot of a local apartment complex early Saturday morning.
At around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, Ocala Police Department officers responded to Berkeley Pointe Apartments located at 2833 NE 7th Street in reference to shots being fired in the area.
When officers arrived at the incident location, they found a “crime scene” in the parking lot. Shortly after their arrival, a victim arrived at a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and they were confirmed to be from Berkeley Pointe, according to OPD.
An investigation was launched into the shooting incident, and OPD stated that detectives determined that there is probable cause for the arrest of 31-year-old Kadrian Lewuan Clayton for attempted murder.
