A motorcyclist from Dunnellon was killed on Saturday evening in a three-vehicle crash that occurred at an intersection in Marion County.
At around 7:15 p.m., a 40-year-old Dunnellon man was traveling southbound on U.S. Highway 41, near the intersection of SW 54th Street, on a motorcycle. According to the Florida Highway Patrol incident report, an SUV was also traveling behind the motorcycle in the same lane, and another SUV was heading northbound on U.S. Highway 41 near the same intersection.
